TASK 2 : CELL
This is the second task I hear. Depend on the task one, I’m be more used to the slang of Professor David Crystal.Even I’m not understand fully the recording, but it’s better compare wih task one. From this lesson, I notice that every country has it’s own and different word for same meaning. For example, the word “mobiles phone” are usually use in UK and the word “cell phone” usually use in United States. Even the word is different, but the meaning are same. This is cause by the slang and cultural from different country. I need to learn it from different country to improve my knowledge in English.

ASSIGNMENT 2 TASK 1
TASK 1 : OUT
Actually, I’m not understand what is talking about from Professor David Crystal in first time. Because it’s too fast and the slang are different from I current listen. I just repeat listen the recording, I try to listen it carefully and pay attention for every word. Then, I read the transcript to understand fully the recording. From this LEARNING ENGLISH, I understand that even every word has it’s own meaning, but, when it collocate with others word, it will has another meaning. Depend on this lesson, I aware that i still naïve in English, I need to study and learn more about the vocabulary.

TO : MISS RAJINA
READING: In the Foundation English class, I had read two novel which teacher told us to read. The novel of penguin reader are use the simple word and sentences, it was very easy to understand the meaning. I was very enjoy reading such kind of novel, it will increase my interest in reading.
WRITING: Besides, in the class i need always do the writing activites , no matter for individual or group. I try to write down all the thing I thought, without care about the grammar. From the mistake, I can improve my writing skill, even it’s little, but it’s really work.
LISTENING: In the class, Miss Rajina always speak slowy and cleary to us. I can hear and understand what she say. Beside that, she also repeat the word when we feel confusion.
SPEAKING: Furthermore, I use English to communicate with my friends and teacher. Even is a broken English, I also try my best to let them understand what I’m talking about. This help me be more bravery speak to others. Beside that, speaking activities are also common in the class.
VOCABULARY: There are many new vocabulary I can learn from the class. In class, teacher always explain to us about the unclear or quite difficult word to us. Moreover, she also introduce us the new word which relevant to the text. It was very helpful for me in writing and speaking.
MAKING PRESENTATIONS: My teacher are importance to student’s presentationts, she always want us present in front of the others, no matter dialogue, introduction, or explanation. She intend to let us be more bravery and used to present to others. This was give me a lot of opportunities to present my idea and speak in front of many people. Actually, I had became inured to face to people.
PARTICIPATING DISCUSSIONS: Discussions is a part of the study, we usually join into team and discuss the title which give by Miss Rajina. This activities is very helpful for us brainstorming to thinking about the idea. Moreover, it’s also an opportunities to let us know the each others. I’m very appreciate it.
